About
Noora and Susannah-Joy (SJ) have been many things to each other for almost two decades and always in mental health & wellness in some form. Over the years, the relationship has grown deep and precious, and both count it an amazing privilege to be back in the same space professionally, doing something they've not done together before.
Writing.
Noora is in Jordan, and SJ is in Canada. They met in the Middle East and share a perspective of the world and a sense of responsibility to humanity that has shaped how both consider all things mental health, and what mental wellness actually looks like. They both lean left-of-center philosophically, and each in their own way actively seek to make the world a better place.

Lately, it feels like everyone is talking about mental health disorders. But honestly? Most of those conversations are missing a huge piece of the puzzle: compassion....
