About Chelsea.
Hi, I’m Chelsea!
I’ve spent over a decade working alongside children and their families in schools, childcare centers, and non-profits, specializing in pediatric mental health. I believe that early childhood is such a beautiful, critical time for development, but it’s not a journey meant to be taken alone. That’s why my approach looks at the whole picture—your family's unique strengths, your relationships, and the everyday environments you move through. In my practice, caregivers aren't just bystanders; you are the real experts on your children. Because kids are still figuring out how to handle big emotions, caregiver participation is a core part of how I work. Together, we will do family therapy and caregiver-child work to help reshape home dynamics and build lasting, meaningful change.
Think of me as a supportive partner in your parenting journey. My goal is to provide a warm, completely judgment-free space where you feel empowered to be your child’s primary protector, teacher, and emotional anchor. Whether you're navigating behavioural challenges, working on emotional regulation, or just trying to find a smoother rhythm for your household, I’m here to help you figure it out. We can meet either in person at my Kelowna office or virtually, and I even offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can make sure we're a great fit before diving in. Let's connect and start building a stronger foundation for your family unit!
Chelsea is a Registered Social Worker (#12633), and Registered Clinical Counsellor (#19408).
About You & Your Child.
Children are multifaceted and complex. The answers are not simple, therapy is not simple, it is one step at a time. I believe in supporting the environments that children are in for 99% of their time (i.e. home, daycares, preschools, schools or hobbies). The work is not the therapy sessions themselves, but rather the work between the sessions. My role is to assess root causes of the behaviours and support families appropriately. My job is to work myself out of a job.
There are common childhood behaviours, and there are extremely difficult and challenging behaviours. If your child struggles with the latter, I can help! Do you need tools/techniques to effectively communicate or support your children? I can help!
